It’s Sunday, long known as the day of rest. Deadlines don’t recognize Sundays if you’re a writer. So, I’m planning dinner as I finish one story. My husband wants my special meatloaf, which is a concoction of lean ground beef, egg, herbed bread crumbs and whatever else is in the cupboard. Corn-on-the-cob and a salad will round out our meal. Then I’ll finish the next story — if any of my interviewees call me back.
